The Chene Vert is set in the country side of the Vienne We are close to the racing circuit val de vienne the house has 5 guest bedrooms 2 for families and one for wheelchair access all rooms are en-suite shower rooms.
We have a guest lounge with TV French & English we also have WI FI on the first floor is a Mezzamine where you can relax and read one of our books we have there. in the garden is a decking area and patio, also we have a above ground pool.
There are lots of country walks on the doorstep and the town of L`lise-jourdain is only 5 minutes away. There is a large car park area
Near by is the Vallee des cerfs, deer farm which have tours and sell produce from the farm also they do horse riding. At Romange is the la,vallee-des-singes which has thr largest gorilla group in France as well asa large variety of monkeys which you can watch being fed thoughout the day. Well worth a visit 10 minutes from us is the Bison farm that is open every day.Poitiers & Limoges are both about 50 minutes drive from us
Poiters has many large shops and pavement cafes in the centre square. Futuroscope is just on the outskirts of Poitiers well worth a day out. Limoges is famous for its porcelain having many shops and factories where you can purchase porcelain Oradour-sur-Glane
is about 40 minutes from us village of the Martyrs Due to the atrocity of 1944.
Festival de Confolens of dance & music from around the world for 7 days in August if you fill fit there is the velo rail pedal railway which can take up to 5 people which runs along a disused railway line
